Composting activity - Comienzo de la actividad de compostaje
With the composters and the wood chipper that SOGAMA (Galician Environment Society) delivered to our center, we have begun the composting activity. We are using, as well as organic remains of the garden and the grounds, food scraps collected from the kitchen, as we learned in the course of composting done in the Adult Center
Con los compostadores y la biotrituradora que SOGAMA (Sociedad Galega de Medio Ambiente) entregó a nuestro Centro, hemos comenzado la actividad de compostaje. Estamos utilizando, además de restos orgánicos de la propia huerta y de los jardines, comida recogida de las sobras de la cocina, tal y como se nos enseñó en el curso de compostaje realizado en el Centro de Adultos.

Training course on composting - Curso de formación en el compostaje
On 25th June, following the agreement signed with SOGAMA, and after receiving 6 recipients for composting and a wood chipper, our students received theorical training in a specific lecture on home composting.
The course was well received and, with their instructions and advice, we began working to create quality compost for our organic garden.
Again, thanks to Sogama (Galician Society of the environment) for their interest and collaboration.
El pasado 25 de junio, tras el acuerdo firmado con SOGAMA, además de recibir 6 recipientes para el compostaje y una biotrituradora, nuestros alumnos recibieron la formación teórica en una charla específica sobre compostaje doméstico.
El curso tuvo una gran acogida y, con sus indicaciones y consejos, empezamos a trabajar para crear un compost de calidad para nuestra huerta ecológica.
Nuevamente, agradecer a Sogama (Sociedad Gallega del medio ambiente) por su interés y colaboración.
